Phantom Train

How it works

1. Create a creature token that is a Human and/or Shaman, and/or has changeling.
2. Activate Ghired by tapping it, creating a copy of the creature token.
3. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing the creature token created in step 2.
4. When the creature token dies, Faces of the Past triggers, untapping all creatures that share a creature type with it.
5. Resolve the Phantom Train ability
6. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns a single shared creature type into a relentless engine of creation and sacrifice, fueled by Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds granting your nontoken creatures the ability to replicate a token that entered the battlefield this turn. By feeding that freshly copied token into Phantom Train, you instantly trigger Faces of the Past whenever the sacrifice occurs; because the Train itself temporarily becomes a Spirit upon activation (and the sacrificed token shares a type like Human or Shaman), the resulting death untaps your key facilitators. This lets you endlessly repeat the cycle to pile up infinite +1/+1 counters on your Vehicle while generating infinite entry, exit, and death triggers.
