How it works

1. Cast the additional sorcery by paying its mana cost.
2. Alania triggers; choose not to have an opponent draw a card.
3. Holding priority, cast Increasing Vengeance by paying , targeting the additional sorcery.
4. Alania triggers, causing an opponent to draw a card and you to copy Increasing Vengeance, with the copy targeting the original Increasing Vengeance.
5. Resolve the copy of Increasing Vengeance, copying the original Increasing Vengeance, with the copy targeting the original Increasing Vengeance.
6. Repeat step 5.

This clever storm loop begins when you cast an initial spell, allowing Alania, Divergent Storm to trigger its incredible spell-copying ability whenever you cast your first instant or sorcery of the turn. By layering Increasing Vengeance on top of it, you set off a self-sustaining chain reaction where the spell copies itself over and over again. Because Alania's trigger requires an opponent to draw a card to activate the copy, and Increasing Vengeance can brilliantly target another copy of itself on the stack, you can infinitely loop the vengeance copies to generate endless triggers without ever running out of fuel.
