How it works

1. At the beginning of your upkeep, Luminous Angel triggers, creating a copy of Timestream Navigator.
2. Activate the oldest Timestream Navigator, paying 2 and putting Timestream Navigator on the bottom of your library to take an extra turn after this one.
3. Pass the turn.
4. Repeat.

This cunning loop hinges on Esix, Fractal Bloom's replacement effect to turn mundane token generation into an engine for extra turns. Once you have the city's blessing, Luminous Angel's upkeep trigger is intercepted by Esix, Fractal Bloom, transforming the usual Spirit into a fresh copy of Timestream Navigator. You can then immediately activate this new Timestream Navigator—paying its mana cost, tapping it, and tucking it into your library—to secure an infinite sequence of extra turns, continuously cycling through the deck while keeping your board supplied with identical, ready-to-copy navigators every single turn.
