How it works

1. Cast Avenger of Zendikar by paying 5.
2. When Avenger of Zendikar enters the battlefield, it and Altar of the Brood triggers.
3. Resolve the Altar of the Brood trigger, causing each opponent to mill a card.
4. Resolve the Avenger of Zendikar trigger, creating a token copy of Avenger of Zendikar for each land you control due to Esik.
5. Each Avenger of Zendikar token enters the battlefield, triggering themselves and triggering Altar of the Brood once for each token.
6. Resolve all Altar of the Brood triggers, causing each opponent to mill that many cards.
7. Resolve the first Avenger of Zendikar trigger, creating a 0/1 Plant creature token for each land you control.
8. When the Plants enter the battlefield, Altar of the Brood triggers that many times, causing each opponent to mill that many cards.
9. Repeat from step 7 for each remaining Avenger of Zendikar trigger.
