How it works

Each time Lullmage Mentor counters a spell, its triggered ability normally rewards you with a single Merfolk token, but the heavy-duty token doublers Anointed Procession, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, and Exalted Sunborn stack together to amplify that single reward into eight fresh Merfolk tokens. Since you only need seven untapped Merfolk to activate Lullmage Mentor's counter ability again, the exponential token production easily generates a surplus of fuel to shut down the entire game.
