How it works

1. Activate Experiment Kraj using Llanowar Scout's ability by tapping it, putting a land from your hand onto the battlefield.
2. If the land is mana-producing and enters the battlefield untapped, you may activate it by tapping it, adding at least 1.
3. Activate Experiment Kraj using Trench Behemoth's ability by returning the land from the battlefield to your hand, untapping Experiment Kraj.
4. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns Experiment Kraj into a veritable one-creature engine by layering on the activated abilities of both Trench Behemoth and Llanowar Scout. Because Experiment Kraj borrows Llanowar Scout's tapping ability to drop a land straight from your hand, it triggers the Landfall ability it also borrows from Trench Behemoth—while simultaneously fueling a mana-producing land if it enters untapped. You then use Trench Behemoth's bounce ability to scoop that very same land right back to your hand, which conveniently untaps Experiment Kraj so you can start the cycle anew. It's a marvelous transmutation that yields infinite landfall triggers and endless mana from your untapped lands, all bound together in Commander, Legacy, Oathbreaker, and Vintage.
