How it works

  1. Cast Harald Unties the Elves by paying 2B manaG mana, causing it to enter the battlefield with a lore counter on it.
  2. Harald Unites the Elves' first chapter ability triggers, causing you to mill three cards, and return Moritte from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Harald Unites the Elves with one lore counter on it.
  3. Moritte of the Frost's first chapter ability triggers, holding priority, activate Auratog by sacrificing Moritte of the Frost, giving it +2/+2 until end of turn.
  4. Resolve the Moritte of the Frost trigger, causing you to mill three cards, and return Moritte from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Harald Unites the Elves with one lore counter on it.
  5. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop uses the continuous saga-copying interaction of Moritte of the Frost and Harald Unites the Elves to trigger chapter abilities over and over again. Because Moritte enters as a copy of the saga and can immediately resurrect itself from the graveyard via that saga's first chapter, you can mill your entire library while keeping the cycle going. To turn this mechanical engine into a win condition, Auratog steps in as the sacrifice outlet, devouring the copying saga in response to its own trigger so it can grow to infinitely large proportions.
