How it works

1. Declare Aurelia as an attacker, triggering it and Shaun's first ability.
2. Resolve the Shaun trigger, creating a tapped and attacking copy of Aurelia that is a nonlegendary Synth in addition to its other types.
3. Resolve the Aurelia trigger, untapping all creatures you control and causing you to get an additional combat phase after this one.
4. Repeat each combat phase.

This explosive pairing turns a single swing into an endless war by weaponizing Shaun, Father of Synths and Aurelia, the Warleader together. Whenever you declare attackers, Shaun steps in to forge a fresh, nonlegendary Synth artifact copy of Aurelia that enters the fray already tapped and attacking. That copy triggers its own combat-untapping and extra-combat-phase magic, wiping away the usual restrictions and letting you repeat the process over and over. Because the token is an exact copy minus the legendary rule and type addition, each new combat phase gives Shaun another opening to duplicate the process, yielding infinite combat steps and an overwhelming army of hasty angels.
