How it works

1. During your upkeep, activate Nim Devourer by paying , returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield, and then sacrificing it.
2. When Nim Devourer dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating two Treasure tokens.
3. Activate the Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding .
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the graveyard-bound recursion of Nim Devourer into a self-sustaining engine fueled by Pitiless Plunderer and amplified by Mondrak, Glory Dominus. By paying black mana during your upkeep to bring the Devourer back just to sacrifice it, you trigger the Plunderer to generate Treasure tokens; thanks to Mondrak's token-doubling replacement effect, that single death yields a surplus of two Treasures instead of one. Sacrificing those generated Treasures easily refunds the initial black mana required to activate the Devourer again, letting you repeat the cycle indefinitely for boundless death and sacrifice triggers.
