How it works

1. Activate Ghave's second ability by paying 1 and sacrificing another creature, putting a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale.
2. Basking Broodscale triggers, creating two 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn creature tokens.
3. Activate an Eldrazi Spawn by sacrificing it, adding C.
4. Repeat.

This intricate loop relies on Basking Broodscale's ability to trigger whenever it receives a +1/+1 counter, which Ghave, Guru of Spores can effortlessly provide by using its own sacrifice ability. Whenever Basking Broodscale gets that counter, it spins off Eldrazi Spawn tokens that can be sacrificed for colorless mana to fuel the cycle. Meanwhile, Mondrak, Glory Dominus quietly doubles every token creation event, turning the single spawn into a surplus that leaves you with an expanding pool of infinite colorless mana, infinite sacrifices, and infinitely growing +1/+1 counters.
