How it works

1. Any opponent takes damage.
2. The Red Terror triggers, putting a counter on a permanent.
3. Shalai and Hallar triggers, dealing at least 1 damage to an opponent.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This loop is a textbook example of a self-sustaining feedback loop where two triggers feed endlessly into one another. It all starts when an initial spark of damage triggers The Red Terror, whose static ability rewards any red damage by growing its power with a +1/+1 counter. That very counter placement immediately triggers Shalai and Hallar, whose triggered ability translates the growth straight into burning an opponent. Because Shalai and Hallar deals that damage as a red source, it loops right back into satisfying The Red Terror's condition, letting you repeat the process until your opponents are entirely wiped out.
