Activate Neurok Transmuter's first ability by paying , causing Sphinx's Disciple to become an artifact.
Cast Idris either from your hand or from the command zone by paying 1 and commander tax, if applicable.
When Idris enters the battlefield, its imprint ability triggers, targeting Sphinx's Disciple.
Holding priority, activate Strionic Resonator by paying 2 and tapping it, copying Idris' trigger, targeting Basalt Monolith.
Resolve both Idris triggers, exiling Basalt Monolith and Sphinx's Disciple.
During your next turn, activate Idris using Basalt Monolith's first ability by tapping it, adding CCC.
Activate Idris using Basalt Monolith's second ability by paying 3, untapping it.
Sphinx's Disciple triggers, causing you to draw a card.
Repeat from step 6.
This intricate setup turns Idris, Soul of the TARDIS into a powerhouse by letting it absorb a clever combination of permanents. First, Neurok Transmuter temporarily turns Sphinx's Disciple into an artifact, allowing an entering Idris to imprint both the Sphinx and Basalt Monolith using a Strionic Resonator to double the trigger. This grants Idris the massive mana-producing abilities of Basalt Monolith alongside the inspired trigger of Sphinx's Disciple. Because the resulting loop generates infinite mana by tapping and untapping the monolith ability, every untap simultaneously forces you to draw your entire deck through the stolen inspired ability.
