Infinite card drawInfinite draw triggers
How it works
Activate Unctus by paying U/P, causing Sphinx's Disciple to become an artifact until end of turn.
Cast Idris either from your hand or from the command zone by paying 1 and commander tax, if applicable.
When Idris enters the battlefield, its imprint ability triggers, targeting Sphinx's Disciple.
Holding priority, activate Lithoform Engine's first ability by paying 2 and tapping it, copying Idris' trigger, targeting Basalt Monolith.
Resolve both Idris triggers, exiling Basalt Monolith and Sphinx's Disciple.
During your next turn, activate Idris using Basalt Monolith's first ability by tapping it, adding CCC.
Activate Idris using Basalt Monolith's second ability by paying 3, untapping it.
Sphinx's Disciple triggers, causing you to draw a card.
Repeat from step 6.
By exploiting Lithoform Engine to double the imprint trigger of Idris, Soul of the TARDIS, we can absorb the text of both Basalt Monolith and Sphinx's Disciple at the exact same time. This turns Idris into a self-contained mana engine that conveniently triggers card draw every time it untaps, a loop beautifully supported by Unctus, Grand Metatect turning the Sphinx into a valid imprint target in the first place. Once the setup is complete, you can endlessly tap and untap your commander for infinite mana and infinite card draw.
