How it works

1. Activate Clock of Omens by tapping it and Sphinx's Disciple, targeting Sphinx's Disciple.
2. Ertha Jo triggers, copying Clock of Omens' ability, targeting Clock of Omens.
3. Resolve both Clock of Omens abilities, untapping it and Sphinx's Disciple.
4. Sphinx's Disciple triggers, causing you to draw a card.
5. Repeat

Biotransference transforms your creatures—including Sphinx's Disciple—into artifacts, allowing them to directly feed the tap cost of Clock of Omens alongside the Clock itself. When you activate Clock of Omens to target and untap the Disciple, Ertha Jo, Frontier Mentor steps in to copy that ability, using the copy to untap the Clock as well. This creates a perpetual motion machine that continuously untaps Sphinx's Disciple, triggering its inspired ability to draw you an infinite number of cards.
