How it works
- Cast Technomancer by paying 5.
- When Technomancer enters, it triggers, causing you to mill three cards and return Synth Infiltrator from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- When Synth Infiltrator enters, it triggers. Holding priority, activate Thermopod by sacrificing Synth Infiltrator.
- Resolve the Synth Infiltrator trigger, causing you to mill three cards and return Synth Infiltrator from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- Repeat from step 3.
This ingenious loop turns Technomancer into a self-sustaining engine by utilizing Synth Infiltrator's ability to enter the battlefield as a copy of the original creature. As each copied Technomancer enters, it pulls the actual Synth Infiltrator right back out of the graveyard to repeat the process, while Thermopod acts as the crucial sacrifice outlet that converts each iteration into red mana to keep the chain going. Because the copies continually cycle through the graveyard and onto the battlefield, you generate an endless cascade of triggers and resources to overwhelm your opponents.
