How it works
- Cast Technomancer by paying 5.
- When Technomancer enters, it triggers, causing you to mill three cards and return Synth Infiltrator from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- When Synth Infiltrator enters, it triggers. Holding priority, activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Synth Infiltrator.
- Resolve the Synth Infiltrator trigger, causing you to mill three cards and return Synth Infiltrator from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- Repeat from step 3.
This brilliant loop relies on a recursive self-copying mechanism to generate boundless triggers. When Technomancer enters the battlefield, its triggered ability mills cards and plucks Synth Infiltrator right back out of the graveyard, letting it enter as a fresh copy of Technomancer. Before that new enter-the-battlefield trigger can even resolve, Umbral Collar Zealot steps in to sacrifice the copying Technomancer, stoking the graveyard and leaving behind a steady stream of sacrifice, death, and trigger events.
