How it works

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Arashin Sovereign, adding CC.
  2. When Arashin Sovereign dies, it, Deathrender and Remembrance trigger.
  3. Resolve the Arashin Sovereign trigger, causing you to put it on top of your library from your graveyard.
  4. Resolve the Remembrance trigger, causing you to search your library for Arashin Sovereign and put it into your hand.
  5. Resolve the Deathrender trigger, putting Arashin Sovereign from your hand onto the battlefield, and attaching Deathrender to it.
  6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Arashin Sovereign into an endless engine of sacrifice and recursion. When you sacrifice the Sovereign to Ashnod's Altar for a pair of colorless mana, its death triggers Deathrender, Remembrance, and its own ability all at once. By resolving the Sovereign's own trigger first to place it safely on top of your library, you ensure that Remembrance can successfully tutor that exact card right back into your hand. From there, Deathrender steps in to cheat Arashin Sovereign straight from your hand back onto the battlefield—re-equipping itself in the process—leaving you free to feed the Sovereign back to the Altar for infinite mana and triggers.
