How it works

1. Cast Kor Skyfisher by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and The Wind Crystal.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Prosperous Innkeeper triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Kor Skyfisher. When it enters, it and Prosperous Innkeeper trigger.
5. Resolve the Kor Skyfisher trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Prosperous Innkeeper trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms Kor Skyfisher into a self-sustaining engine by leveraging cost-reducers to eliminate its mana requirement entirely. With Defiler of Faith and The Wind Crystal both discounting your white spells, you can cast the Skyfisher for free by paying life, while the Defiler simultaneously rewards each cast by churning out a 1/1 Soldier token. Every time that token enters the battlefield, Prosperous Innkeeper triggers to pad your life total. When Kor Skyfisher itself resolves and enters, its own drawback of bouncing a permanent actually fuels the combo, letting you pick it right back up to hand while the Innkeeper triggers yet again to sustain your life total.
