How it works

1. Cast Kor Skyfisher by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and Grand Arbiter Augustin IV.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Thunder of Unity triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Kor Skyfisher. When it enters, it and Thunder of Unity trigger.
5. Resolve the Kor Skyfisher trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Thunder of Unity trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This loop uses the cost-reducing synergy of Grand Arbiter Augustin IV and Defiler of Faith to cast Kor Skyfisher entirely for free by paying 2 life instead of its mana cost. When Kor Skyfisher enters the battlefield, its mandatory trigger forces you to bounce a permanent, which conveniently lets you pick up Kor Skyfisher itself so you can cast it all over again. Meanwhile, Defiler of Faith pumps out a fresh 1/1 Soldier token every time you cast that white permanent, fueling Chapter II and III of Thunder of Unity to continuously drain your opponents and pad your life total.
