How it works

1. Cast Kor Skyfisher by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and The Wind Crystal.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Thunder of Unity triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Kor Skyfisher. When it enters, it and Thunder of Unity trigger.
5. Resolve the Kor Skyfisher trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Thunder of Unity trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This clever engine turns a modest Kor Skyfisher into a self-sustaining loop by leveraging cost reducers to cast it for free. With both Defiler of Faith and The Wind Crystal on the board, the Skyfisher's mana cost is reduced to zero, allowing you to continually recast it while Defiler of Faith floods the battlefield with 1/1 Soldier tokens. Each time one of those tokens enters, chapter II or III of Thunder of Unity triggers to drain your opponents and gain you life, which is safely doubled by The Wind Crystal's static replacement effect. Because Kor Skyfisher's own entry trigger forces it to bounce itself back to your hand, you can repeat the process endlessly to drain the entire table of their life totals.
