How it works

  1. Draw a card.
  2. The Locust God triggers, creating a 1/1 Insect creature token with flying and haste.
  3. When the Insect enters the battlefield, Lunarch Veteran triggers if it's on the battlefield.
  4. Holding priority, activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Insect, adding 1.
  5. When the Insect dies, Luminous Phantom triggers if it's on the battlefield.
  6. Resolve the Lunarch Veteran // Luminous Phantom trigger, causing you to gain 1 life.
  7. Well of Lost Dreams triggers, causing you to pay 1 to draw a card.
  8. Repeat from step 2.
