How it works

  1. Draw a card.
  2. The Locust God triggers, creating a 1/1 Insect creature token with flying and haste.
  3. When the Insect enters the battlefield, Daxos triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
  4. Well of Lost Dreams triggers. Choose not to pay.
  5. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Insect, adding CC.
  6. When the Insect dies, Daxos triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
  7. Resolve the Well of Lost Dreams trigger, causing you to pay 1 to draw a card.
  8. Repeat from step 2.
