How it works

  1. Cast Kinsbaile Borderguard by paying 1W manaW mana, causing it to enter the battlefield with at least one +1/+1 counter on it.
  2. Activate Antler Skulkin by paying 2, giving Kinsbaile Borderguard persist until end of turn.
  3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Kinsbaile Borderguard, adding CC.
  4. When Kinsbaile Borderguard dies, its persist ability triggers, as well as its second ability.
  5. Resolve the second trigger, creating a number of 1/1 Kithkin Soldier creature tokens equal to the number of counters on Kinsbaile Borderguard.
  6. Resolve the first trigger, returning it to the battlefield from your graveyard with at least one +1/+1 counter on it due to its ability.
  7. Repeat.
