How it works

1. Activate another creature you control that has a +1/+1 counter on it by exiling it, creating a 1/1 Human creature token that enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it due to Renata.
2. Repeat using the Human token instead.

This clever loop turns Inquisitive Puppet into a self-replacing engine by feeding it directly to Agatha's Soul Cauldron. When the Puppet is exiled via the Cauldron's tap ability, its native activated ability creates a 1/1 white Human creature token, which immediately receives a +1/+1 counter upon entering thanks to Renata, Called to the Hunt's static ability. Because Agatha's Soul Cauldron grants all exiled creature abilities to any creature you control with a +1/+1 counter on it, that newly spawned Human token inherits the exact same exile-and-replace ability, allowing you to repeat the process indefinitely for an endless stream of creature entrances and departures.
