How it works
- Activate Traxos by tapping it, adding 1.
- Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library.
- Cast Sensei's Divining Top from the top of your library by paying 1.
- Traxos triggers, untapping itself.
- Repeat.
This elegant loop transforms the humble Sensei's Divining Top into an endless engine of card draw and artifact triggers by continuously cycling it from the top of your library to your hand and back. To fund this, Paradise Mantle is equipped to Traxos, Scourge of Kroog, allowing the massive construct to tap for the exact mana needed to recast the Top. Although Traxos normally refuses to untap during your untap step, its ability springs into action every time a historic spell like Sensei's Divining Top is cast, resetting the creature so it can tap for mana again. Meanwhile, The Lunar Whale oversees the operation by granting you the ability to look at the top card of your library at any time, ensuring you always know when your Top is ready to be cast from the library once more.
