How it works
Cast Ebondeath from your graveyard by paying .
Geralf's first ability triggers, creating a 2/2 Zombie Rogue creature token.
When the Zombie Rogue enters the battlefield, Geralf's second ability triggers, putting a number of +1/+1 counters on the Zombie Rogue equal to the number of other Zombies that entered the battlefield under your control.
When Ebondeath enters the battlefield, Geralf's second ability triggers, putting a number of +1/+1 counters on Ebondeath equal to the number of other Zombies that entered the battlefield under your control.
Activate Phantom Train twice by sacrificing the Zombie Rogue and Ebondeath.
When the Zombie Rogue and Ebondeath die, Pitiless Plunderer triggers twice, creating two Treasure tokens.
Resolve both Phantom Train abilities.
Activate the Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding .
Repeat.
This macabre loop relies on Ebondeath, Dracolich returning repeatedly from your graveyard because a creature died that turn, fueling the cycle with the help of Pitiless Plunderer, which converts those deaths into reusable Treasure tokens to pay for the recurring cast. Meanwhile, Geralf, the Fleshwright turns each subsequent spell cast into a growing army of Zombie Rogue tokens that trigger more death triggers and gather compounding +1/+1 counters. Phantom Train serves as the necessary outlet, letting you instantly sacrifice your newly minted zombies and dragons to feed the Plunderer's greed, while Ballad of the Black Flag sits in the background milling cards and potentially discounting your historic spells as the Saga progresses.
