How it works

1. During any turn, activate Pestilence by paying , dealing 1 damage to each creature and each player.
2. Each creature your opponents control dies as a state-based action due to having 0 toughness.
3. Repeat each turn as desired.

This clever synergy turns a classic black enchantment into a one-sided board wipe by exploiting how base toughness changes interact with damage. Because Maha, Its Feathers Night sets the base toughness of all opponent's creatures to 1, a single activation of Pestilence is all it takes to reduce them to 0 toughness and send them straight to the graveyard. Best of all, Pestilence itself can be activated repeatedly for just a single black mana on any turn, allowing you to sweep the board clean whenever your opponents try to rebuild.
