How it works

1. Activate Emiel the Blessed by paying 3, blinking Redcap Thief.
2. When Redcap Thief enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, and Preston trigger twice if it has power 2 or less, or once otherwise.
3. Resolve both Redcap Thief triggers, creating two Treasure artifact tokens.
4. Resolve the first Preston trigger, creating a token copy of Redcap Thief that is a 0/1 Illusion.
5. When the Redcap Thief token enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, creating two Treasure tokens.
6. Repeat from step 4 for the remaining Preston trigger, if applicable.
7. Activate three Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 3.
8. Repeat.

This engine turns a humble Redcap Thief into an endless fountain of wealth and illusionary copies, all powered by the careful manipulation of creature entry triggers. By using Emiel the Blessed to continuously blink the Thief, you feed Preston, the Vanisher's ability to manufacture a small army of 0/1 token copies whenever a creature enters the battlefield uncast. Delney, Streetwise Lookout acts as a master amplifier here, ensuring that any creature you control with power 2 or less—including our clever Thief—doubles its entry triggers to generate extra Treasure tokens and illusion tokens with every cycle.
