How it works

1. Activate Emiel the Blessed by paying 1, blinking Plundering Pirate.
2. When Plundering Pirate enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating a Treasure artifact token.
3. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
4. Repeat.

By enlisting Training Grounds to slash Emiel the Blessed's blink ability down to a single mana, you turn the engine self-sustaining: every flicker costs just {1}, which is instantly refunded when Plundering Pirate re-enters the battlefield and generates a fresh Treasure token to crack for mana. This continuous loop allows you to milk the pirate's ETB infinitely, yielding an endless stream of creature enters-the-battlefield and leaves-the-battlefield triggers.
