How it works

1. Activate Magmaw by paying 1 and sacrificing another nonland permanent, dealing 1 damage to an opponent.
2. Malcolm triggers, creating two Treasure tokens.
3. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
4. Repeat.

This intricate loop is masterminded by Conspiracy naming "Pirate," which turns Magmaw, Stridehangar Automaton, and every token involved into Pirates to satisfy Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator's trigger condition. When Magmaw flings a nonland permanent at an opponent, Malcolm generates Treasure tokens while Stridehangar Automaton simultaneously multiplies them and floods the board with Thopter tokens due to its replacement effect. Those extra artifacts and Thopters then fuel Magmaw's sacrifice cost and provide the mana needed to keep firing, turning a small ping into an unstoppable cycle of destruction.
