How it works

1. Activate Magmaw by paying 1 and sacrificing another nonland permanent, dealing 1 damage to an opponent.
2. Malcolm triggers, creating a 1/1 Frog creature token and a Treasure token.
3. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator into a self-sustaining damage machine by using Psychic Paper to grant him the crucial "Pirate" creature type, ensuring his combat damage triggers always find their mark. While Malcolm supplies the initial Treasure token upon dealing damage, Quina, Qu Gourmet amplifies every single token creation event by also throwing in an extra 1/1 green Frog creature token alongside it. Magmaw happily devours those extra Frogs and Treasures as fuel, feeding its activation cost to deal direct damage to an opponent and keeping the entire cycle churning infinitely.
