How it works
- Cast Basking Broodscale by paying 1.
- When Basking Broodscale enters, Good-Fortune Unicorn triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale.
- Basking Broodscale triggers, creating an 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn creature token.
- When the Eldrazi Spawn enters, Good-Fortune Unicorn triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on the Eldrazi Spawn.
- Activate the Eldrazi Spawn by sacrificing it, adding C.
- When the Eldrazi Spawn dies, Reyhan triggers, putting at least one +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale.
- Repeat from step 3.
This delightful loop relies on Good-Fortune Unicorn to continuously reward you with counters whenever Basking Broodscale or its offspring enter the battlefield. Every time that incoming +1/+1 counter hits the Broodscale, its ability triggers to spawn an Eldrazi Spawn token, which in turn fuels your colorless mana supply when sacrificed. Because Reyhan, Last of the Abzan watches over your dying creatures, those sacrificed tokens pass their counters right back onto Basking Broodscale to restart the entire sequence.
