How it works

1. Cause Orcish Mechanics to become an artifact using Phyrexian Scriptures.
2. Activate Orcish Mechanics by tapping it, dealing 2 damage to Smaug.
3. Smaug triggers, creating two Treasure tokens.
4. Activate Clock of Omens by tapping the Treasures, untapping Orcish Mechanics.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns Smaug the Impenetrable into a self-sustaining gold mine by weaponizing his own greed. We start by using the first chapter of Phyrexian Scriptures to permanently turn Orcish Mechanics into an artifact, allowing it to tap and sacrifice artifacts to fuel its own ability. When Orcish Mechanics deals two damage to Smaug the Impenetrable, his damage trigger rewards us with two Treasure tokens. Finally, we feed those newly minted riches into Clock of Omens to untap Orcish Mechanics, letting us repeat the whole process for an endless horde of treasures.
