How it works

1. Cause Selvala to become an artifact using Phyrexian Scriptures.
2. Activate Selvala by paying and tapping it, adding at least 3.
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Selvala.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop transforms Selvala, Heart of the Wilds into an artifact creature with the first chapter of Phyrexian Scriptures, making her a valid target for Voltaic Construct. Once Selvala holds that artifact type, tapping her for green mana via her own activated ability generates more than enough resources to pay the Construct's untap cost, leaving you with infinite mana. While the second chapter of Phyrexian Scriptures clears away rival nonartifact creatures for safety, Selvala herself remains untouched behind her newfound artifact shield.
