How it works

1. Activate Treasonous Ogre by paying 3 life.
2. Repeat step 1 until Greven has power 21 or greater due to its first ability.
3. Deal combat damage to an opponent using Greven. The opponent loses the game due to being dealt 21 or more combat damage from your commander.

This explosive Commander pairing turns your own life total into a resource for swift execution. By repeatedly activating Treasonous Ogre, you willfully pay life to generate red mana while simultaneously driving up Greven, Predator Captain's power through his static ability that scales with the life you've lost this turn. Once Greven towers with at least 21 power, you send him into the red zone to deal lethal commander damage to a targeted opponent in a single blow.
