How it works

1. At the beginning of your upkeep, Stasis and Court of Vantress' second ability triggers.
2. Resolve the Court of Vantress trigger, creating a token of any nonlegendary artifact you control.
3. Activate Urza's first ability by tapping the artifact token, adding .
4. Resolve the Stasis trigger, causing you to pay .
5. Repeat during each of your turns.
6. As long as Stasis is on the battlefield, players skip their untap steps.

This elegant prison lock weaponizes Stasis to freeze the board while keeping your own resources fluid. Normally, Stasis would starve you of mana by skipping everyone's untap steps and demanding upkeep payments, but Urza, Lord High Artificer completely bypasses this drawback by letting you tap your artifacts directly for blue mana. To ensure you always have enough artifacts to tap without falling behind, Court of Vantress steps in at the beginning of your upkeep to duplicate your best utility artifacts, providing a steady stream of new targets for Urza to tap to pay Stasis's upkeep cost turn after turn.
