How it works
- Cast Sensei's Divining Top by paying 0.
- Forensic Gadgeteer triggers, creating a Clue token.
- Activate Urza's first ability by tapping the Clue, adding .
- Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top from the battlefield on top of your library.
- Activate the Clue by paying 1 and sacrificing it, causing you to draw Sensei's Divining Top from the top of your library.
- Repeat.
This elegant engine achieves infinite card draw by leveraging cost-reducers and mana generation to loop a single artifact endlessly. With Helm of Awakening on the battlefield reducing artifact spell costs to zero, Sensei's Divining Top can be cast for free, which in turn triggers Forensic Gadgeteer to generate a Clue token. You can then tap that newly created Clue for blue mana using Urza, Lord High Artificer's ability, use Sensei's Divining Top's tap ability to draw a card and return it to the top of your library, and sacrifice the Clue—whose activation cost is conveniently mitigated by Forensic Gadgeteer—to draw the Top right back out. Repeating this loop allows you to cycle through your entire deck, generating an unbounded storm count along the way.
