How it works

1. Activate Deathbloom Ritualist by tapping it, adding at least .
2. Activate Scryb Ranger by returning it from the battlefield to your hand, untapping Deathbloom Ritualist.
3. Cast Scryb Ranger by paying 1.

This mesmerizing loop relies on Ashaya, Soul of the Wild to fundamentally rewrite the battlefield, turning every nontoken creature into a Forest land in addition to its other types. Because of this static ability, Scryb Ranger doesn't just need any old land to bounce—its ability can target itself or any other creature to pay the return-a-Forest cost. You simply tap Deathbloom Ritualist, fueled by the creature cards waiting in your graveyard, to generate the mana you need to recast Scryb Ranger after each untap. By bouncing and replaying the Ranger over and over, you continuously untap the Ritualist to net infinite colored mana while triggering an endless cycle of creature enters-the-battlefield and leaves-the-battlefield events.
