How it works

1. Activate Viridian Joiner by tapping it, adding at least .
2. Activate Scryb Ranger by returning it from the battlefield to your hand, untapping Viridian Joiner.
3. Cast Scryb Ranger by paying 1.
4. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns a simple elf and a dryad into a self-sustaining mana engine, fueled entirely by Ashaya, Soul of the Wild transforming all your nontoken creatures into Forests. Because Ashaya makes Viridian Joiner a land in addition to its creature type, the Joiner itself counts as a Forest and can be returned to your hand by Scryb Ranger's ability—though you actually want to keep the Joiner on the board and instead use that exact ability to bounce the Scryb Ranger (which is *also* a Forest thanks to Ashaya!) to untap the Joiner. Tap the massive, power-buffed Viridian Joiner for an abundance of green mana, bounce the Ranger to untap it, and simply recast Scryb Ranger using a fraction of the generated mana to repeat the process indefinitely.
