How it works

1. Activate Fyndhorn Elder by tapping it, adding .
2. Activate Scryb Ranger by returning it from the battlefield to your hand, untapping Fyndhorn Elder.
3. Cast Scryb Ranger by paying 1.
4. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns your entire creature base into a self-sustaining mana engine, anchored by Ashaya, Soul of the Wild turning every nontoken creature you control into a Forest land. This passive type-change is the secret to the whole operation, allowing Scryb Ranger to bounce *itself* (or any other creature) back to your hand as the required land cost for its ability. Once Scryb Ranger uses that ability to untap Fyndhorn Elder, the elf taps for double green mana—more than enough to recast Scryb Ranger for {1}{G} and leave you with a growing surplus of green mana.
