How it works

1. Activate Arbor Adherent by tapping it, adding at least .
2. Activate Scryb Ranger by returning it from the battlefield to your hand, untapping Arbor Adherent.
3. Cast Scryb Ranger by paying 1.
4. Repeat.

This elegant loop centers on Ashaya, Soul of the Wild's remarkable static ability, which turns every nontoken creature you control into a Forest in addition to its other types. Because Scryb Ranger can bounce *any* Forest you control to its owner's hand to untap a creature once each turn, Ashaya lets you return the Ranger itself as the cost to untap Arbor Adherent. Once untapped, Arbor Adherent uses its second ability to generate a surplus of mana, easily paying the {1}{G} needed to recast Scryb Ranger from your hand. By repeating this process, you generate an infinite loop of creature leaves-the-battlefield and enters-the-battlefield triggers, alongside infinite colored mana, storm count, and landfall.
