How it works

1. Cast Synth Infiltrator by paying its mana cost. Choose to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Rakdos Joins Up.
2. Put Synth Infiltrator into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
3. Synth Infiltrator's first ability and second ability trigger, along with Rakdos Joins Up's second ability.
4. Resolve Synth Infiltrator's second trigger and Rakdos Joins Up's trigger, dealing damage to target opponent.
5. Resolve Synth Infiltrator's first trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with two +1/+1 counters on it as a copy of Rakdos Joins Up.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop leverages the legend rule and recursive copying to melt an opponent's life total in a single turn. By casting Synth Infiltrator as a copy of Rakdos Joins Up, state-based actions immediately send one to the graveyard, triggering its ETB to return itself to the battlefield with two additional +1/+1 counters while also firing off its damage ability. Meanwhile, Starfield of Nyx can support your enchantment synergies, though the true engine runs on the continuous cycle of the copy entering, dying to the legend rule, and triggering its own resurrection and damage over and over again.
