How it works
- At the beginning of your combat phase, Mishra triggers, creating a 4/4 artifact creature token copy of Gonti's Aether Heart named Mishra's Warform and a Map token.
- When the Map and Mishra's Warform enters the battlefield, Mishra's Warform and Gonti's Aether Heart trigger twice each, causing you to get eight E.
- Activate Mishra's Warform by paying eight E and exiling it, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
- Repeat each turn.
This elegant engine turns Mishra, Eminent One into a relentless temporal anomaly by weaponizing Gonti's Aether Heart. At the start of combat, Mishra creates a temporary 4/4 copy of the Aether Heart—which triggers its energy generation twice right out of the gate, further supercharged by Worldwalker Helm duplicating your token output with an extra Map token. Between the initial entry triggers and the Helm's own ability to copy tokens, you quickly stockpile the eight energy counters needed to exile the Warform-copy of Gonti's Aether Heart and take an extra turn. Because Mishra's Warform is an artifact creature created fresh every single combat phase, you get to repeat this glorious cycle every turn, chaining extra turns indefinitely until your opponents are buried in time.
