How it works

1. Cast Cut Your Losses by paying 4, causing the player enchanted by Fraying Sanity to mill half their library, rounded down.
2. At the beginning of your end step, Fraying Sanity triggers, causing the player to mill the rest of their library.

This devious milling sequence relies on Fraying Sanity sitting quietly on the battlefield, tracking every card that heads to your opponent's graveyard throughout the turn. When you drop Cut Your Losses targeting that same player, its primary effect immediately dumps half of their library into the graveyard. Because Fraying Sanity remembers this massive chunk of cards coming from anywhere, its delayed end-step trigger looks back at the total carnage and finishes the job by milling away the rest of their library in one sweeping motion.
