How it works

1. Activate The Notary Hobbits by tapping it, adding at least CC
2. Activate Tidewater Minion by tapping it, targeting The Notary Hobbits.
3. Battlemage's Bracers triggers, causing you to pay 1 to copy Tidewater Minion's ability, targeting Tidewater Minion.
4. Resolve both Tidewater Minion abilities, untapping it and The Notary Hobbits.
5. Repeat.

This clever setup relies on Tidewater Minion as an infinite untapper, ready to target itself and other permanents once it's properly equipped. By outfitting it with Battlemage's Bracers, every time Tidewater Minion taps to untap something, the Equipment's ability lets you pay {1} to copy that untap effect so it can refresh both itself and your mana source. That mana engine is safely fueled by The Notary Hobbits, whose initial entry creates an army of non-legendary copies that multiply your tapping power into a massive surplus of colorless mana.
