How it works

1. During your upkeep, activate Nim Devourer by paying , returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield, and then sacrificing it.
2. When Nim Devourer dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers twice, creating two Treasure tokens.
3. Activate the Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding .

This elegant loop transforms the graveyard recursion of Nim Devourer into a self-sustaining engine by leaning heavily on the modular support of the battlefield. When you activate Nim Devourer during your upkeep, its self-sacrifice triggers Pitiless Plunderer to generate a Treasure token, an output that is immediately doubled thanks to Teysa Karlov's static replacement effect. Cracking those two resulting Treasures provides more than enough mana to pay for Nim Devourer's ability again while also feeding its artifact-scaling power bonus and creating an endless cycle of sacrifices, enters-the-battlefield events, and leaves-the-battlefield triggers.
