How it works

1. Cast Wormfang Drake by paying its mana cost.
2. When Wormfang Drake enters, its first ability triggers, exiling Hero of the Dunes.
3. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Wormfang Drake.
4. When Wormfang Drake dies, its second ability triggers, returning Hero of the Dunes from exile to the battlefield.
5. When Hero of the Dunes enters, it triggers, returning Wormfang Drake from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. When Wormfang Drake enters, its first ability triggers, exiling Hero of the Dunes.
7. Resolve the Yahenni ability.
8. Repeat from step 3.

This clever recursion loop sets up an endless dance between Wormfang Drake and Hero of the Dunes, generating a storm of triggers with every iteration. Whenever Wormfang Drake enters the battlefield, it exiles Hero of the Dunes, but sacrificing the Drake to Yahenni, Undying Partisan immediately triggers its return—which in turn brings the Hero right back to resurrect the Drake. Meanwhile, Yahenni, Undying Partisan safely stores up endless counters and can leverage its sacrifice ability on demand, all while Hero of the Dunes quietly pumps your small-mana team with its static anthem buff.
