How it works

1. Cast Wormfang Drake by paying its mana cost.
2. When Wormfang Drake enters, its first ability triggers, exiling Metamorphosis Fanatic.
3. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Wormfang Drake.
4. When Wormfang Drake dies, its second ability triggers, returning Metamorphosis Fanatic from exile to the battlefield.
5. When Metamorphosis Fanatic enters, it triggers, returning Wormfang Drake from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. When Wormfang Drake enters, its first ability triggers, exiling Metamorphosis Fanatic.
7. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
8. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop sets up an endless cycle of sacrifice and resurrection by leveraging Wormfang Drake's enter-the-battlefield exile ability alongside its leave-the-battlefield return trigger. You feed the Drake to Phantom Train's activation cost, sending it to the graveyard and turning the Train into an active creature while releasing the exiled Metamorphosis Fanatic. That Fanatic immediately enters the battlefield to pull Wormfang Drake right back out of the graveyard, triggering its exile ability all over again to swallow the Fanatic back up.
