How it works

1. Activate Krark-Clan Ironworks by sacrificing the nontoken creature, adding CC.
2. When the creature dies, Mortuary triggers, putting the creature from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Cast the creature by paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This engine forms a remarkably self-contained loop by turning your library into a recurring deck of creatures, fueled entirely by Krark-Clan Ironworks sacrificing a creature to generate the colorless mana needed to recast it. Whenever that sacrifice happens, Mortuary catches the creature as it hits the graveyard and neatly places it right back on top of your library. Once you have seven or more lands, Case of the Locked Hothouse solves, granting you the crucial ability to play spells directly from the top of your library so you can seamlessly replay your sacrificed creature and do it all over again.
