How it works

1. Activate Krark-Clan Ironworks by sacrificing a Clue, adding CC.
2. Lonis' second ability and Tarrian's Soulcleaver trigger.
3. Resolve the Lonis trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on any other creature you control.
4. Resolve the Tarrian's Soulcleaver trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on Lonis.
5. Lonis' first ability triggers, creating a Clue artifact token.
6. Repeat.

This elegant loop transforms the humble Clue token into an engine of endless growth and colorless mana, fueled by the artifact-sacrificing prowess of Krark-Clan Ironworks. When you cash in a Clue for mana, Tarrian's Soulcleaver reacts to the artifact hitting the graveyard by placing a +1/+1 counter straight onto Lonis, Genetics Expert. That influx of counters triggers Lonis's ability to investigate, immediately replacing the sacrificed Clue with a brand new one while also bouncing a counter over to another creature you control thanks to her sacrifice payoff.
